Long Product Description

The GoodWe ES Uniq GW8000-ES-C10 is an 8kW single-phase hybrid inverter developed for residential solar self-consumption, battery storage and high-power backup applications. Its 48V low-voltage battery interface works with approved lithium-ion and lead-acid battery systems across a 40–60V operating range, while 160A continuous charging and discharging supports rapid energy transfer.

With up to 16kW of PV input power, the inverter allows 200% PV oversizing relative to its nominal AC rating. Two MPPT trackers, a 60–550V operating range and 32A/16A MPPT input-current capability provide flexible array design for modern high-current PV modules.

The backup output supplies 8kVA nominal power, 8.8kVA continuously without the grid and up to 16kVA for 10 seconds. Switching to backup occurs in less than 4ms, helping supported loads continue operating during grid outages.

The ES Uniq platform supports on-grid and off-grid parallel operation of up to six inverters, generator integration, smart-load control and micro-grid operation. IP66 protection, smart fan cooling and app monitoring make it suitable for professionally designed residential energy systems in demanding environments.

Battery Compatibility Note

This inverter uses a 48V nominal, 40–60V battery platform and CAN BMS communication. Confirm the battery model on the current GoodWe compatibility list before installation. Also verify firmware, communication cable pinout, current limits and charging parameters. Battery voltage alone does not guarantee compatibility.
